Mount Rushmore Resort at Palmer Gulch features Mount Rushmore Lodge and Mount Rushmore KOA. Dining options include The Peak Grill & Tap Room, Chuck Wagon Dinner Show, Wagon Master's Breakfast Ride, The Prospector's Tent, Grapes & Grinds, and Turtle Town. Leisure activities include horseback riding, hiking, biking, nightly movies, live music, hayrides, swimming, and tie-dye art. The resort provides amenities for reunions, work retreats, and weddings. Additional amenities include multiple shopping venues, a Fun Zone, playgrounds, a dog park, and propane and dump stations. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park are nearby.

The Mount Rushmore Lodge offers guest rooms, royal and presidential suites. Cabins range from the Grand Executive Lodge (sleeps 12) to one-bedroom cabins. RV and tent sites include Deluxe RV pads with patio, table, chairs and full hookups to basic tent sites. Some cabins have full kitchens or kitchenettes and decks or screened porches. Cabins also include king beds, queen beds, twin beds, bunk beds and sofa sleepers.

The Row Cabins are standalone units, consisting of eight units divided into two sections with a shared large covered deck. Each unit features a layout similar to a double queen hotel room, complete with a kitchenette and fireplace. Updated pictures are currently in progress.

Can visitors with severe allergies find rooms that haven't had pets?

Executive Lodges and the three- and four-bedroom mountain cabins are pet-free zones. Most other accommodations may have had pets in the past, so checking the specific room type is advisable for allergy concerns.
